Emergency drill at the Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel
The Córdoba Club de Fútbol carried out an emergency drill at the Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel stadium with the aim of testing the action protocols in the event of a hypothetical mass evacuation of fans in case of a match suspension.
The action allowed for the organized and coordinated simulation of the measures that must be taken to ensure the safety of spectators, evaluating response times, communication between the different teams involved, and the correct application of the venue's Self-Protection Plan.
The drill was led by the Club's Security Directorate. The actions included immediate intervention in the event of a crowd surge: the care and assessment of injured individuals, the transfer of the injured depending on the severity, and, as a result of the scenario, the evacuation of the stadium.
The exercise involved the National Police Security Coordinator, the chief of the operation, along with external companies and security personnel hired for match days, as well as Local Police, Red Cross, heads of various areas and departments of Córdoba CF, including our Genuine team, to whom we are immensely grateful for their participation. Similarly, the activity was supervised by LaLiga Emergencies, who were present at the stadium for the occasion.
This action is part of Córdoba Club de Fútbol's commitment to the safety and well-being of its fans, focusing on continuous training, prevention, and the constant improvement of emergency protocols for high-attendance events.
And, as a reminder, in case of emergency, always follow the instructions of the security personnel and the public address system.
