The social fabric of Córdoba CF continues to strengthen. The Peña Cordobamanía has celebrated its 25 years of existence with a gathering at the Sociedad de Plateros on Queso Street in the city of Córdoba, bringing together dozens of its members who shared memories and experiences of their passion for the green and white team.
Peña Cordobamanía was founded in 2001, supported by the emergence of the Internet and virtual communities. In this way, three friends planted the seed for this fan club, which also served as a platform to share opinions and concerns among Córdoba CF supporters from different places virtually, and even as an information channel. Over time, they solidified their structure and began meeting in person, becoming one of the most active fan clubs.
Its current president, Antonio Sánchez, highlighted during the anniversary celebration that "if something defines us, it is that we are always there for Córdoba CF; we don't care about the league. In fact, we travel just the same in Segunda RFEF as we do now in the Lyga Hypermotion." "We are a Córdoba CF family, we have organized many parallel activities, and we have always stood by the team, no matter where they play," emphasized the head of Cordobamanía.
The director of External Relations of Córdoba CF, Francisco Poyato, presented the fan club with a commemorative first-team jersey celebrating 25 years of work and life. The event was also attended by Pepe Díaz, one of Córdoba CF's forwards with the most official matches played throughout his career (141 matches and 32 goals).
