The CEO of Córdoba CF, Antonio Fernández Monterrubio, has sent a message of calm, confidence, and unity to the Córdoba fanbase following the poor results at the start of the league. Before the presentation of Nelson Monte as the new blanquiverde player, Fernández Monterrubio stated, «I want to share some thoughts with our fans and the entire Córdoba community to send a message of calm, confidence, and unity.»
«We are the first to be dissatisfied,» he continued, «with the start of the season. We expected to have more points than we currently do, but we have absolute confidence in both the squad and the coaching staff, and we know this situation will be turned around.»
In the same vein, the CEO of Córdoba CF admitted, «We are aware of the mistakes that have been made, and we are working to resolve them.» He also wanted to emphasize, «We have a young team, but that does not mean it lacks talent. We have made many changes. We are not the kind of people to look for excuses or blame.»
Antonio Fernández Monterrubio defended in his reflection that «the level of criticism and self-demand is extremely high,» adding, «We understand the criticism, the disappointments, and the frustrations because we feel them too, but we must remain calm because this team has not yet reached its full potential. We are calm in that regard,» he stressed.
Finally, the blanquiverde CEO underlined that «there is still a long way to go, and we have absolute confidence,» while also calling for unity within the Córdoba fanbase, because «it will be much easier if we are all united.»
