Gate 00 of the Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel is now the Rafael Campanero Gate.

Córdoba CF pays tribute to its honorary president with an event attended by his family, political representatives, veterans, and members of the organization.

The Córdoba Club de Fútbol paid tribute this Friday to Rafael Campanero, honorary president and one of the key figures in the club's history, by naming Gate 00 of the Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel as Rafael Campanero Gate.

The event was attended by Rafael Campanero's family, as well as political representatives, Córdoba CF veterans, and various individuals connected to the club, who joined in honoring this essential figure in the history of Córdoba CF.

The new designation of Gate 00 serves as a permanent recognition of Campanero's career and his close connection to Córdoba CF. A founding member of the club in 1954, his relationship with the organization spanned nearly every role: ball boy, delegate, board member, and president.

Rafael Campanero served as president of Córdoba CF during three periods: from 1969 to 1975, from 1983 to 1986, and from 2006 to 2009. During his various tenures leading the club, he was at the forefront of some of the most significant moments in the club's history, including three promotions to different divisions: to the First Division in 1971, to Segunda B in 1985, and to the Second Division in 2007.

The tribute highlights the legacy of a man who dedicated much of his life to Córdoba CF and became one of the great icons in the club's history.

With the naming of the Rafael Campanero Gate, Córdoba CF aims to keep his memory alive and recognize the contributions of those who have played a fundamental role in building the identity and spirit of Córdoba CF.

From today, his name also becomes part of the stadium that represents the home of all Córdoba CF supporters.

Rafael Campanero, forever in the history of Córdoba CF.
