Dani Tasende: "I want to have my best season in the Second Division with Córdoba CF"

Dani Tasende has been introduced as a new player for Córdoba CF and highlighted how easy it was for him to decide to join the blanquiverde project. "The style of play is similar to what the coach asks of me and it fits my characteristics. I had played against Córdoba, and it was an easy decision," explained the full-back, who assured that he is adapting "very well" during his first days at the club. The Galician has set an ambitious goal: "I want to have the best season of my career in the Second Division. What better stage than Córdoba. That is my challenge."

The new Córdoba player defined his main strengths and expressed his desire to continue growing. "My best aspects are offensive. I like to get forward, provide assists, and contribute to the team," said Tasende, who also trusts in improving defensively with the help of the coaching staff. Regarding the competition within the squad, he spoke positively about his initial conversations with Ignasi Vilarrasa and Diego Bri: "They are good people and good professionals. It will be healthy competition because we all want the best for the team, and that will help us perform at the highest level."

Tasende also reflected on his time at Real Zaragoza, which he described as "one of the biggest clubs," and acknowledged the challenges of a season that ended in relegation. "It was a privilege to play there. They weren't the best years, and we had the bad luck of going down, but I'm sure they will bounce back," he said. Now focused on his new chapter, the full-back emphasized the importance of making the most of the preseason to be in the best shape for the start of the league: "We have to prepare well and make sure that, when the match against Burgos comes, we are all at one hundred percent."
