Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel prepares its green for a new season

The Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel has recently begun transitioning its grass from winter to summer, a key process to restore the playing field to its best condition as the countdown to the new season begins. After the installation of Bermuda sod last summer, one of the varieties best suited to withstand high temperatures, the blanquiverde stadium is now undergoing a decisive phase to ensure the field regains its surface during the most demanding months of the year.

RoyalVerd, the company responsible for the grass at Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel, is overseeing work that includes the progressive removal of winter ryegrass, scarification, sand application, aeration, and fertilization of the playing field to reactivate the Bermuda grass that has remained dormant under the winter grass. This variety, particularly adapted to Córdoba's heat, offers excellent recovery capacity after matches and training sessions, reduces the risk of diseases associated with high temperatures, and helps the grass maintain a more stable and uniform surface.

A critical technical process to ensure the stadium is in optimal condition for the Trofeo Puertas de Córdoba on June 23 and is ready to host football once again.
