Blanquiverde Classroom brings the blanquiverde spirit to more than 1,000 schoolchildren
The Córdoba Club de Fútbol has concluded the second edition of Aula Blanquiverde, an educational and social program that has allowed more than 1,000 students from 22 schools in Córdoba to get a closer look at the daily life of the blanquiverde organization. The initiative, promoted by the Delegation of Education and Childhood of the Córdoba City Council in collaboration with Córdoba CF and its Foundation, held its final session of the 2025/26 course this Wednesday.
Aula Blanquiverde has established itself as one of the club's most impactful social initiatives, bringing Córdoba CF closer to young children through a comprehensive experience at its facilities. The day begins at the Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel, where students participate in educational workshops on healthy lifestyle habits, inclusion, disability, sports values, respect, teamwork, and knowledge of the club's history and symbols.
Subsequently, the children take a tour of the stadium, visiting areas such as the locker room tunnel, the press room, and the playing field. The activity then continues at the Sports City, where participants can watch a first-team training session, meet the players up close, and experience a day especially connected to the Cordobesista spirit.
Throughout the course, the program has also featured the active participation of players from Córdoba CF Genuine, who have served as hosts of the activity and conveyed to the students the values of inclusion, perseverance, and camaraderie that the club represents. Additionally, all students received various commemorative gifts, such as an official program jersey, a team postcard for collecting autographs, and a bracelet in the blanquiverde colors.
Of the 22 participating schools, eight benefited from free transportation services as they are located in peripheral neighborhoods or vulnerable areas. The course's outcome has been very positive, with ratings between 9 and 10 points from the attending teachers.
The Delegate of Education and Childhood, Narci Ruiz, highlighted that “the outcome of this second edition has been especially positive, with ratings between 9 and 10 points from the participating teachers. These figures reflect the success of this initiative, which combines leisure and education, especially in teaching values such as discipline, perseverance, tolerance, and joint effort to achieve a goal.”
Ruiz also expressed gratitude for the involvement of Córdoba CF and its Foundation in the development of the program and announced that Aula Blanquiverde will return next September.
For his part, the CEO of Córdoba CF, Antonio Fernández Monterrubio, emphasized that “for Córdoba CF, it is a source of pride to open the doors of the Bahrain Victorious Nuevo Arcángel and our Sports City to Córdoba's students. Aula Blanquiverde not only allows them to get a closer look at the daily life of a professional football club but also helps us instill in them values such as respect, inclusion, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle habits from a young age. We want them to experience Córdoba CF as something of their own, to know our history and our symbols, and for that Cordobesista spirit to accompany them from childhood.”
